BCU - Band Control Unit
Simply install the BCU on your guitar and discover the versatility of your guitar.
Electric guitar pickups have a natural resonance characteristic unique to each model. BCU is designed to supplement this resonance and change the frequency and gain spontaneously, providing a controllable parametric EQ option. BCU allows you to experience sounds ranging from the bright tone of vintage pickups to the warm, mid-tone of fat-humbucking pickups.
Unlike conventional parametric equalizers, which use a band-pass filter to generate mechanical and artificial sounds, the BCU is specially designed to simulate the natural resonance character of real pickups.
Applications: Electric Guitar and Electric Basses
BCU Features:
- Knob 0: Leads your pickup sound to become richer, fatter, and warmer by boosting the gain in the mid-range and reducing the low and high frequency range. Achieve a humbucking sound from your single-coil pickup.
- Knob 5: Enhances your pickup sound by boosting harmonics. Shifts the mid-high band slightly and reduces the gain in the low-mid band.
- Knob 10: Produces a brighter and more distinctive tone by expanding your guitar sound. Low and high frequencies are boosted, while the mid-range forms a 'V' shape.
Additional Features:
- Requires only a small amount of current (0.16 mA), ensuring your 9V battery lasts for years.
- Pull the knob to switch to active mode.
BCU Compatibility:
